Vegan Steel Cut Oats with Dates
This is my vegan steel cut oat recipe with dates. Oatmeal is one of my favorite breakfasts on days when I'm going to be really active or when I don't have much food left in my cupboards. This is a really easy recipe and you can substitute your favorite fruits into this recipe. Try to use steel cut oats whenever you have the time as they are not as processed as other oats. If you are short on time, rolled oats are fine but try to stay away from instant oats.I love putting dates in my oats as they fiber, potassium, and they have a low glycemic index which means they aren't going to give you a sugar pike but the sugar in them will add flavor to the oats.Enjoy and be sure to share this recipe with a friend.
